This Refund Policy applies to all bookings made with Ethan Carr Guide Service. By reserving a guided fishing trip through our website or via direct communication, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.
All guide trips require a $200 non-refundable deposit to secure your date. This deposit confirms your commitment and reserves your time on the water. Because our calendar fills quickly and we turn away other clients once a date is booked, deposits are not refundable under any circumstance except those stated below.
In the event that we must cancel your trip due to unsafe weather conditions, mechanical failure, or any other issue on our end, we will offer you the option to reschedule your trip or issue a full refund, (NOT including the deposit). If you cancel your trip with more than 14 days’ notice, you may reschedule your booking once without penalty. However, cancellations made within 14 days of the trip will forfeit the deposit, and rescheduling is not guaranteed.
No-shows or last-minute cancellations (within 48 hours of the scheduled trip) are considered non-refundable in full, including the deposit and any pre-paid balance. Exceptions may be made in rare and documented emergency cases at our sole discretion.
